Your Baby is 28 Weeks Old!
At week 28, your baby only has about 12 weeks to go until birth! Your baby keeps gaining weight to prepare for life outside of the womb, and his or her head is growing very quickly to make room for his or her quickly-growing brain! Other organs are being fine-tuned, as well – for example, the baby can now smell, and he or she can distinguish between high and low pitched sounds.
Baby Shower
Usually sometime around this point in her pregnancy is when a mom has a baby shower. People come together to buy her some of the baby supplies she needs, like diapers and onesies, and maybe a swing and some baby toys! Some moms, though, don’t have people to throw them a baby shower, and they don’t have very many baby things. Consider perhaps buying a pack of diapers or a baby outfit and donating them to a local crisis pregnancy center. They will give these supplies to moms and their babies who need them!
